Presents: Hard Hat | Holy Balm

Hard Hat: featuring Kusum and Peter Blamey. This is a duo of extremes, Peter Blamey’s feedback mixing desk cuts loose alongside kusum’s extreme vocals.

Holy Balm is Anna John, Emma Ramsay and Jonathan Hochman.  This collaboration was initiated in a Sydney share house in 2006 – inspired by intersecting interests in dance, pop, rhythm, psychedelia and experimental musics.

caleb.k has been programming sound events since 2000 when he initiated impermanent.audio. He has worked on numerous events including Typhoon and Mistral at Artspace and has recently programmed an event at ISSUE project room in New York. Caleb is also the author of Cracked Media (MIT Press 2009) and the forthcoming Documents of Contemporary Art anthology Sound (Whitechapel/MIT).
