SuperDeluxe presents Happy Hour – an evening of screenings, installation, and live performance by over 20 Australian and international artists curated by Scott Donovan. The program includes an exclusive screening of Christain von Borries/Alice Creischer/Andreas Siekmann’s Auf einmal und gleichzeitig. Eine Machbarkeitsstudie – an anti-consumerist musical staged in the Citypoint mega-mall, Kassel, for Documenta 12.

Scott Donovan has curated programs of sound and video art for the Sydney International Film Festival, the Australian Centre for Photography, and Artspace, Sydney. As director of the Scott Donovan Gallery he co-ordinated the visual arts component of the Samuel Beckett Symposium during the 2003 Sydney Festival and regularly presented exhibitions and events of work by Australian and international new media artists – notably ‘Waterworld: New New Zealand Video & Sound Art’ and ‘Don’t Look Now’ co-hosted by Mori Gallery, Sydney. He is a co-founder and current co-director of ICAN (The Institute of Contemporary Art, Newtown). At SuperDeluxe@Artspace Scott Donovan presents ‘Happy Hour’ – an evening of screenings, live performance and installations by 21 artists from Australia and overseas.
